December 14, 2020
“In 2021 and beyond that, I hope to see less divide between people and more public awareness of our societal issues to work towards a brighter future together.” ~ Chelsea Sadler ‘21
“On a personal level, I want to see growth. I want to see myself attend the university that I would like to attend and see an increase in how I approach life and how I deal with problems and whatnot. On a global scale, however, I would like to see more cooperation between people. The world has gotten rather bitter, I feel, over the past couple of years, and it is extremely evident within the US. I just hope to see more unity and less division.” ~Alex Simeon ‘21
“In 2021, I hope to see a better and brighter future for both myself and the world. I hope it brings new adventures, challenges, people, memories, and experiences that’ll shape and guide me as I transition into adulthood. I can’t wait to see what the new year holds and I hope the world continues in its process to develop a set of mutually acceptable relation standards between countries in politics and economics. I believe there is no greater tool to exist for humans than the tool of collaboration, so if we stick together and unite to tackle the tasks that arise before us, I have no doubt in my mind that there will be success.” ~ Angela Ziganshina ‘21
“Personally, I hope to have more perspective and remember how capable I am. Globally, I hope people act with more kindness and less prejudice.” ~ Molly Abbott ‘21
Personally for 2021 I’d like to see my Junior year end smoothly, along with a smooth transition into my Senior year. For the world, I’d like to see us take the steps to become less divided, and prioritize the pressing issues like COVID, racism, and climate change. ~ Noah Berkowitz ‘21
Like everyone else, I’d love to see the pandemic be over in 2021 but I also hope to see more people living their life to the fullest, after COVID of course. In the new year, I am going to take advantage of new opportunities and just have an exciting rest of my senior year. ~Becca Woods ‘21
“Just like all other seniors, I can’t wait to see where I end up going to college. After 17 years in this town and working hard in high school, I can’t wait to see where I end up spending my next 4. In addition, I also really hope that the Class of 2021 will be allowed to have an in person graduation and that we will be able to walk across the stage to get our diplomas. In the world, I look forward to seeing more kindness in 2021. This past year was filled with so much division that brought out the worst in society, so I hope people will choose to show more respect and kindness toward one another. “ ~ Emily Schneider ‘21
In the world, I hope to see more empathy overall. I also hope to continue to see the rise of young people getting involved politically and fighting for change for their futures. Personally, I hope for good health and happiness. ~Rebecca Kelleher ‘21
