Although it may not feel like it all the time, there are many fun things to do in Hunterdon County. Especially during the spring. From trips to Round Valley Reservoir to local book sales, here are a few things to do out of the house this season:
Round Valley Reservoir
Round Valley Reservoir in Clinton Township is the perfect place to enjoy a fun spring or summer afternoon. With its rich history and walking paths, you can bring your family(or dog) here to spend the day. There’s also the reservoir, which is great for swimming, boating, and fishing. You can also enjoy bird watching and sunbathing on the beach. Or, if you’re a history buff, dive into the past of the lake and look into the underwater city beneath. Many local barns offer horseback riding trail rides as spring progresses. Horseback riding on a trail is an enjoyable and stress-free way to spend time outside! If trail rides aren’t your pace, there are plenty of beginner lessons to try. So, try something new and hop on for a great adventure!
