After being a writer for their junior year, Maya is now a senior opinion editor. Outside of school, they enjoy jewelry making, listening to music, and anime. They are a blackbelt in taekwondo, which occupies a lot of their time and also work at Spirit Halloween. At school, they are involved in several clubs and have leader positions in Model United Nations and Garden Club.
