I close my eyes and breathe out no wish
I leave twelve grapes frozen in plastic
Journals are left uncracked
Pages unworn with promises unkept
I start a new year of life with no wish
I crunch on nothing but air at each clock tick
There is no resolution that
Should ever change me
I set my eyes on the horizon
Instead
Gazing beyond at infinity
And let the rest of my life begin
With no presumptions to confine
The Great Design
