Toronto – A record breaking height-challenged NBA player was congratulated with the NBA Finals Most Valuable Player award after beating the Utah Jazz in the 2034 NBA Championship. Scott “Baller Baby” Johnston was among other players associated with the Toronto Raptors basketball team who were awarded with the NBA’s Larry O’Brien trophy after defeating the Utah Jazz in game 7 on June 22nd, 2034.
The rookie basketball star who stood out due to his height, is only listed at a mere 3-foot-6 and 117lbs, but this did not hinder his hard work and commitment. Johnston posted a crazy stat sheet which consisted of 44.7 pts/21.3 rebs/16.8 ast/19.2 stl/ 6.7 blks over a competitive 7 game series in which they defeated Bryce James, second son of Hall of Famer LeBron James who holds the record for most points scored in an NBA career with slightly over 45,000. Many sports fans and announcers admit that they did not believe in Johnston and assumed that he would not succeed in the NBA, just because he did not fit the stereotype of a good basketball player, due to his height. Sports analysts proved that he dominated games and took over, using his speed, skills, and his basketball IQ rather than relying on his height.
NBA Champs
After the game at the Championship parade with festivals starting around 10:30am EST on June 24th, Scott was seen with teammates and family celebrating their accomplishments. Although he had to use a ladderto be seen on the float, that did not stop him from having a good time being around the people he adored most.
Toronto Head Coach Darko Rajaković, along with Assistant Coach Pat Delany were seen amongst players. Scott stands as a reminder to young athletes that hard work pays off, to believe in your dreams despite what others may think, and that nobody knows you better than yourself. Don’t let their words hinder your accomplishments–you can do anything you put your mind to!
