Peace

Every great war was started by a man who can not understand
who thought the world was at his hands
Peace will only exist
if we destroy the mentality of ignorant bliss

I see the world outside and I hear their cries
we have for once experienced peace for 77 years
and it hurts my heart when I hear
a man who will not shed a tear

for the ones who he is about to send to die
who was offered nothing but lies
who grips a peaceful country
he will soon see God has a bounty

Peace will only be granted to the ones who are willing too listen
like a mother talking to her son in the kitchen
